For its first concert at the Academy of Music in this season, the Franz Liszt Chamber Orchestra chose an interesting pair of composers. The Mozart symphony conducted by Gábor Takács-Nagy will be followed by one of the most fiery and most complex concert arias of the music literature performed by our beloved soprano, Emőke Baráth, promising an emotional first part. more

Following a short break, with music reminiscent of the tranquility of the northern fjords, the concert will focus on the most well-known Norwegian composer and will deliver the consolation a new start may provide subsequent to a difficult era with the Grieg songs of the soloist and the Orchestra. The concert will conclude in the mandatory virtuoso section of the Franz Liszt Chamber Orchestra, providing a richer interpretation of the grandiose string quartet written in 1878 building on the performance of not four, but sixteen musicians in artistic unison.
